| My omelette didn't look quite like this one... My presentation skills aren't the greatest! |
I thought this week, i would share with you my eating diary, and hopefully ( if i stay on track ) give you some food ideas...
Day 1
Remember i said i was being healthier? i am slightly worried about this weeks 'healthy eating'. My personal trainer has told me i am not allowed any carbs this week.
So today is day 1 of no carbs, well it's only a night of it as i had pt (personal training) at 5:00pm. BUT STILL ITS A MEAL WITHOUT CARBS.
As i left the gym i thought, no worries...i will find something good to eat that doesn't contain naughty carbohydrates. I get home to find James has made me dinner...Chips, battered fish and spaghetti hoops. Nothing in that doesn't contain carbs, and it smelt so good. James left the kitchen with his plate of carbohydrates the food demon was already creeping out, he is a sly one.
Be strong Beth, be strong. After rummaging around the kitchen and fridge, frantically looking for some food as my stomach was crying out to me. I found pies, pizza, fish fingers, chips, potato gems...yes. i found carbs.
Then i look at the eggs... OMELETTE. i forget, its such an easy meal, very filling and high in protein. I put some ham with it, sprinkled it with some cheese, bit of salt and pepper and there we go! I was full up.
The moral of my long story is ....an omelette is a good shout for a quick healthy option. ( probably could have just wrote that in one sentence...)
